Man Flashes Gun At Car In Bloomfield IHOP Parking Lot: Police
Bloomfield police are investigating an "aggravated assault" that involved a gun being pointed at a car in a parking lot.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Police in Bloomfield are investigating an “aggravated assault” that involved a gun being pointed at a car in a parking lot last week, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the incident took place on Dec. 28 at the IHOP restaurant parking lot on Broad Street.
Two people told officers that they were sitting in their car and preparing to leave the parking lot, when a dark-colored SUV pulled behind them. Two men got out of the SUV and approached the other car, then one of them allegedly pointed a handgun in that direction.

When the driver of the other car saw the gun, he sped away from the parking lot and called police, authorities said.
