Man Grabs $570 From Cash Register At Bloomfield QuickChek: Police
When the cashier finished a transaction with a customer, a man reached over the counter and grabbed $570 from the register, police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A customer at QuickChek on Broad Street in Bloomfield allegedly reached into the cash register, grabbed $570 in cash and fled the store last week, police said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the incident took place on April 2. When a cashier finished a transaction with a customer, the man reached over the counter and grabbed $570 from the register, then fled the store.
There were no weapons used or shown, police said.

Bloomfield police are investigating the theft, authorities announced Wednesday. Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, which can be seen below.
