Man Robbed In Bloomfield While Trying To Sell PlayStation: Police
A man seeking to sell a PlayStation through Facebook Marketplace was robbed at gunpoint when he went to make the sale, police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A man seeking to sell a PlayStation through Facebook Marketplace was robbed at gunpoint when he went to make the sale in Bloomfield, police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the victim reported the robbery on Feb. 25. Police released the following statement about the incident:
“The victim was contacted through Facebook Marketplace to sell his PlayStation, and arrangements were made to meet up. Upon the suspect’s arrival, he brandished a dark-colored handgun and demanded the PlayStation. The suspect then struck the victim in the head with the handgun, causing a laceration. The suspect took the PlayStation and the victim’s cellphone.”
The victim said his assailant was a man wearing a dark hoodie with the letters “ATP” in yellow. He fled the area in a silver Honda CRV.
