Man Stole $800 Worth Of Cooking Oil In Bloomfield: Police
The man was driving a truck with a Texas temporary license plate, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A man stole more than $800 worth of cooking oil last week in Bloomfield, authorities said.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the incident, which took place on Sept. 30:
“Officers responded to the rear of 8 Franklin Street on report of stolen cooking oil. The complainant stated that a male driving a truck with a Texas temporary license plate was pumping cooking oil out of one of the containers. When the suspect was approached, he fled the area towards Watsessing Avenue. The value of the oil is approximately $833. This incident is under investigation.”
