Man Swindled Out Of $3K Gold Necklace In Bloomfield: Police
A woman tried to give the victim a fake necklace and watch, but then a mix-up happened, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A man was swindled out of a $3,000 gold necklace in Bloomfield last week, authorities announced Thursday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the theft took place on the 60-block of Bloomfield Avenue on April 8.
The victim said a woman in a dark-colored Porsche approached him and tried to give him a fake gold necklace and watch. During their encounter, the man’s real gold necklace was mixed up with the fake one, and the woman fled the scene, police said.
