BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Police arrested a New York resident during an undercover operation at a spa in Bloomfield after she allegedly propositioned an officer for sexual activity, authorities reported Friday.

The investigation took place at Top Health Spa at 28 Washington Street, and involved the Bloomfield Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.

The masseuse – a 41-year-old Flushing resident – did not have a license, police said. She was charged with engaging in prostitution, issued a summons, released and has a pending court date.
