MedExpress Opens Urgent Care Clinic In Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — MedExpress Urgent Care opened its 22nd New Jersey location in Bloomfield on Wednesday at 135 Bloomfield Avenue. The new Bloomfield location is part of an expansion that will also see a pair of MedExpress Urgent Care facilities open this March in Linden and Ewing, the company stated.

As part of its grand opening, the new Bloomfield location will offer free sports physicals to patients ages six and up from Jan. 17 to 30, according to a company news release. Learn more here.

“We’re honored to join Bloomfield as a neighborhood health care partner,” said Bobby Hingorani, MedExpress Area Manager for New Jersey.

According to MedExpress:

“The center in Bloomfield will care for people of all ages, providing urgent care, employer health services and basic wellness and prevention services. Walk-in treatment is available for everyday illness and injury – including treatment for common winter ailments such as colds, flu, ear infections, upper respiratory infections, bronchitis and strep throat – as well as more advanced services including X-rays, IVs, labs, minor surgery, stitches and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains. Local employers can use MedExpress for employer health services, which include workers’ compensation, injury care, pre- and ongoing employment screenings, physicals and regulatory exams. Basic wellness and prevention services available include sports physicals, routine physicals and immunizations.”

MedExpress continued:

“The Bloomfield center will have multiple exam rooms, a procedure room and an X-ray suite. The center will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no appointment necessary… The center will be staffed by a full medical team, which includes customer service representatives, nurses, medical providers and radiologic technologists.”
