Men Break Into Bloomfield Gas Station, Steal ATM: Police
The men arrived at the scene in a stolen vehicle, entered the gas station's store and removed the cash machine, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Three men broke into a gas station in Bloomfield and stole an ATM last week, authorities say.
According to the Blomfield Police Department, officers responded to the Shell gas station on Watchung Avenue on Feb. 9 after getting a report about an activated alarm.
When police arrived, they found that someone pried open the door, authorities said.

Video surveillance captured three men arriving at the scene in a stolen BMW model SUV. The men then enter the store of the gas station and remove the cash machine, police said.
An investigation into the incident continues, police added.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
An attempted burglary was also reported in Bloomfield last week, authorities said.
Bloomfield police released the following details about the incident, which took place on Feb. 11:
“Officers responded to the area of Hawthorne Avenue on a report of an attempted burglary. The complainant stated he heard loud noises coming from the side of the house. Police units observed two side window screens and the rear sliding screen door open.”
An investigation into the incident continues, police said.
