Men Follow Bloomfield Pedestrian In Car, Rob Him: Police
A suspect jumped out of a car, punched a victim in the body and face, then stole his iPhone and keys, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A robbery suspect jumped out of a car, punched a victim in the body and face, then stole his iPhone and keys last week, Bloomfield police said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Olive Street on Feb. 7 after receiving a report of a robbery.
The victim told officers that he was walking home from the bus stop at Bloomfield Avenue and Orange Street when he saw a dark-colored Toyota following him. At that time, a man jumped out of the passenger side of the vehicle and attacked him, punching him in the body and face, authorities said.

The suspect took the victim’s iPhone 10 max, two sets of keys, a $5 bill and loose change, police said.
A police investigation is ongoing, authorities said Friday.

The victim said there were two suspects, both about six-feet and wearing all black clothing. One man was wearing a black jacket over a black-hooded sweatshirt. The other was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask over his face, police said.
