BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two men recently tried to burglarize a check cashing business in Bloomfield by climbing onto the roof, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to United Check Cashing on the 100-block of Watsessing Avenue on April 30 after getting a report about an attempted burglary.

Video surveillance footage shows two men using a ladder to climb onto the roof of the building and attempt to gain entry into the business, police said.
