Mercedes Benz Stolen From Bloomfield Church Parking Lot: PD
A motorist parked his car in a church lot. When he returned a few hours later, it was gone, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Mercedes Benz was stolen from a local church parking lot last week, Bloomfield police said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, an officer responded to Dodd Street on Feb. 27 on a report of a motor vehicle theft.
The victim told the officer that he parked his 2012 black Mercedes Benz in a church parking lot at 7 p.m. When he returned at 9:30 p.m., it was gone, authorities said.

Surveillance footage showed the vehicle leaving the parking lot at 8:04 p.m. on Lawrence Street towards East Orange, police said.
The car, which had the New Jersey registration H24MCW, was entered as NCIC stolen. Police are investigating, authorities said.
