Mother And Teen Daughter Robbed At Gunpoint In Bloomfield
The pair were leaving a party on Orchard Street when a man pulled up in a BMW and pointed a gun at them, police say.
Bloomfield police are seeking a male suspect who allegedly robbed a 38-year-old woman from Piscataway and her 18-year-old daughter on Saturday evening as they were leaving a party on Orchard Street.
The woman told police that a male suspect in a gray baseball cap drove up in a black, four-door BMW, pointed a black, machine-gun-type weapon at her and demanded that she hand over her purse.
The women told police that she and her daughter took off running, at which point the man drove away.

Neither was injured, police stated.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Bloomfield Police Department Detective Bureau. If anyone has information regarding the incident they should call 973-680-4084.
