Multi-Car Crash Takes Place In Essex County On Thanksgiving

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A multi-vehicle crash in Essex County required rescue efforts from local firefighters on Thanksgiving Day, authorities said.
The crash took place in Fairfield, according to the Fairfield Fire Department, which released a statement about the incident on social media:
“Upon arrival, the fire department found a multi-vehicle accident, with Fairfield police providing care to a single entrapped patient. Members of the fire department made first contact with the patient inside the vehicle, utilized cribbing and struts for stabilization, and made cuts to the roof to extricate patient. After the patient was removed, they were then turned over to West Essex First Aid Squad for continued patient care.”
