Multiple Injuries, Massive Delays After Parkway Crash

Multiple people were hurt in a crash on the Garden State Parkway early Monday, causing major traffic delays up and down the highway.

The crash happened north of exit 148 in Bloomfield and multiple cars were involved in the crash, police said.

The accident happened at 6:14 a.m. and the right lane was closed, but later reopened, authorities said.

NJ.com reported that northbound traffic was already backed up several miles past the interchange with I-280 and delays were building.
