Multiple Suspects Reported In 2 Bloomfield Robberies: Police
BPD: A strong-arm robbery took place near Bloomfield Avenue and Edison Street. An armed robbery happened on Donald Street.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of robberies involving groups of assailants recently took place in Bloomfield, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:
Aug. 27 - Officers received information of a strong-arm robbery that occurred in the area of Bloomfield Avenue and Edison Street. Detectives canvassed the area and located a victim of the robbery. Video was recovered of the incident involving four males who assaulted the victim and took $650 dollars in cash.

Aug. 29 - Officers responded to the area of Donald Street on report of an armed robbery. The complainant advised officers that when he was approaching the front door to his residence, three males approached him and all three suspects pulled guns to his head. The victim fought with the suspects, but were able to get his watch from the victim before he ran.
