N.J. Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend’s New Beau, Takes Former Lover On Parkway Ride: Bloomfield Police
The woman's 19-year-old ex-boyfriend rammed her new beau's car then stabbed him, Bloomfield police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police arrested an Essex County man after he allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s new beau on Bloomfield Avenue and fled the scene with his former lover, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the 27-year-old stabbing victim was driving on Bloomfield Avenue on Sunday with his girlfriend, when Enyer Almonte-Sanchez, 19, of Newark, drove up behind him and rammed the victim’s car. After disabling the victim’s car, Almonte-Sanchez allegedly got out of his vehicle, walked over to the victim and stabbed him in his left flank.
Almonte-Sanchez then “forced his ex-girlfriend into the vehicle” and fled the scene, police stated.

Emergency responders transported the victim to University Hospital for treatment, authorities said.
Police later received multiple 911 calls about a male allegedly hitting a female inside a vehicle on the NJ State Parkway. Authorities subsequently located Almonte-Sanchez and his ex-girlfriend at the New Jersey State Police Bloomfield Barracks, and found the knife allegedly used in the attack inside his car, police said.

Authorities charged Almonte-Sanchez with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. His bail was set at $500,000.
