New Urgent Care Center Opens In Bloomfield, Gets Warm Welcome

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A new urgent health care center recently opened its doors in Bloomfield.

Level Up MD Urgent Care, located at 322 Glenwood Avenue, is a “one-stop medical facility” that provides urgent and preventative care. It occupies more than 5,000 square feet in the ground floor of The Shops at Bloomfield Station retail space, which is owned and managed by Cedar Realty Trust.

A grand opening ceremony was held for Level Up MD Urgent Care last month.

The new addition to the town’s business community got a warm welcome from the Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA).

“The BCA is always excited to welcome a new business to the downtown, especially in this instance, where a respected medical provider is choosing to call Bloomfield Center its home,” Executive Director Ollyn Lettman said.

“We see it as yet another sign of the downtown district’s impressive growth and positive transformation to a livable, pedestrian-friendly community,” Lettman added.

The BCA also noted that three more businesses will soon be opening their doors in the same development. The first is Q’enko Organic Cuisine, a restaurant specializing in Peruvian food. The second is Aloha Krab Restaurant, which will offer a Cajun seafood menu. The last will be downtown Bloomfield’s only microbrewery, Varitage Brew Works.
