Essex County Man Has Been Missing For Days; Police Ask For Public’s Help
The missing man's family last saw him several days ago, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing person, authorities reported Wednesday.
According to a social media post from the Bloomfield Division of Public Safety:
"This agency is investigating a missing person that was reported on June 13, 2022, at approximately 5:56 p.m. George Kovacs was last seen by his family on Wednesday, June 8 at approximately 4:30 p.m."
Police said Kovacs has a tattoo of triangles on his wrist and a music note on one of his hands. He is known to wear a kilt, although his family is unsure of what he was wearing when he left on June 8, authorities said.

Police said Kovacs is a Caucasian male, 36-years-old, 6 feet 2 inches and weighs about 180 pounds. He has hazel eyes, brown hair and a “fair” skin complexion.
