Bloomfield police discover warrant after conducting traffic stop

A Newark woman’s alleged choice to park in a disabled parking space led to the discovery of an outstanding warrant and her eventual arrest, reported Bloomfield police.

According to police, on Wednesday, March 4, a 35-year-old woman was arrested at 11:18 p.m. on Bloomfield Avenue following a traffic stop for illegally parking in a disabled space. Soon after, police discovered the woman had a warrant out of Norwood Borough and arrested her.

The suspect was processed and released after posting bail, stated police.
