Pickup Truck, Construction Vehicle Stolen In Bloomfield: Police
Someone recently stole a pickup truck with a trailer that was towing a Caterpillar 305 in Bloomfield, police say.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone recently stole a pickup truck with a trailer that was towing a large construction vehicle in Bloomfield, police say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statement about the theft, which was reported on Sept. 19:
“A complainant responded to Bloomfield Police Headquarters to report a motor vehicle theft from the area of Williamson Avenue. The complainant parked a pickup truck with a trailer carrying a Caterpillar 305 in front of the location overnight and upon returning to it the following morning, he noticed it was missing.”
The 2008 Ford F25 pickup, trailer and Caterpillar were registered as stolen vehicles. The theft is under investigation, Bloomfield police said.
