Pizza Parlor, Dry Cleaners Burglarized In Bloomfield: Police
A pair of businesses in Bloomfield reported burglaries, authorities said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A pair of businesses in Bloomfield reported burglaries last week, authorities said Thursday.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following statements about each incident.
July 11 – Officers responded to 63 Belleville Avenue (Superb Dry Cleaners) on report of a commercial burglary. The business owner locked up the business the previous night at 5 p.m. When he returned the following morning at 7 a.m., the business was burglarized. The owner reports that $150 was missing from the cash register. The suspect(s) gained entry through a fan opening in the rear of the building. This incident is under investigation.

July 17 – Officers responded to 13 Belleville Avenue (Franks Pizza) on report of a burglary. The business owner received a call from the alarm company at 10:58 p.m. on a motion activation inside the restaurant. The owner responded and arrived at 11:10 p.m. and observed that the back door of the restaurant was open. After entering, he observed that the front cash register was removed. This incident is under investigation.
