Prohibition-Era Tavern To Be Resurrected In Bloomfield
A "historic" cocktail lounge from out of the early 1900s is about to be resurrected in Bloomfield as a family-friendly tavern.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A “historic” cocktail lounge from out of the early 1900s is about to be resurrected in Bloomfield.
In April, Bloomfield Center will see a revival of an early 1900’s historic spot - Braun’s Cocktail Tavern & Lounge. According to a news release from the tavern, Chef Michael Fiorianti aims to “renew and recapture the character of the former prohibition-era space.”
Fiorianti’s vision for the soon-to-open Braun’s Tavern & Dining Room is of a “modern-day, chef-driven, casual neighborhood spot where area residents can gather with friends and family to enjoy a great meal and beverages,” the release stated.
