Prosecutor: Bloomfield Teacher Uploaded Child Porn to School Computer

Randolph man allegedly used home and work computers to view, distribute images, prosecutor says.

A Randolph man has been arrested and charged on two counts of endangering the welfare of child after allegedly uploading child pornography to work and home computers, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp said.

Nicholas Schumacher, 29, of Randolph and an employee of the Bloomfield Public School District was charged with second degree endangering the welfare of a child (distribution of child pornography) and third degree endangering the welfare of a child (possession of child pornography).

An investigation revealed Schumacher allegedly uploaded child pornography images to his home computer and work computer, Knapp said, after the Prosecutor’s Office was alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
