Robbery At Liquor Store In Bloomfield Involved Weapon: Police
A man pulled out a large, bladed weapon during the robbery, Bloomfield police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A robbery involving a weapon took place at a liquor store in Bloomfield last week, authorities said Thursday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Broughton World of Liquors on Broughton Avenue after getting a report about a robbery on Dec. 5.
An employee told officers that a man approached the cash register with a bottle of vodka and chips, then asked for a carton of cigarettes. The man then told the worker that he wasn’t going to pay. He pulled out a large, bladed weapon from his pocket and ran out of the store, police said.

The items were valued at $147, police said.
