BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police made two arrests in connection with a robbery that took place near Memorial Park, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the robbery took place on June 30. The victims told officers that “three or four men” and two women assaulted them, then stole an iPhone and jewelry valued at $700 and ran away.

While canvassing the area, police found two women matching the description the victims provided.

A 20-year-old Bloomfield resident and a juvenile were charged with robbery and conspiracy. Both have pending court dates, authorities said.

An investigation continues, police said.
