Shots Fired Near Foley Field In Bloomfield, 3 Casings Found: PD
Bloomfield officers responded to a report of "shots fired" near Foley Field. They found casings from either a blank gun or a starter pistol.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police officers responded to a report of “shots fired” near Foley Field on Monday night, finding three casings from either a blank gun or a starter pistol, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the shots were reported in the area of JFK Drive North and Foley Field. A witness told officers that they saw a gray/silver, four-door, “newer model” sedan with tinted windows on the scene, possibly a Hyundai or Honda.
All three casings were turned over to Bloomfield detectives as evidence, authorities said.

A police investigation continues, authorities said Tuesday. No additional details were immediately available.
