An East Orange resident is getting ready to open her first shop. Here's what to expect, according to the Bloomfield Center Alliance.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — An East Orange resident is getting ready to open her first shop: a Thai-style rolled ice cream eatery in Bloomfield.
The Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA) gave a sneak peek at what is coming to the “long-vacant” storefront at 625 Bloomfield Avenue in a social media post on Monday. According to the BCA:
“Something new and different is coming to Bloomfield Center and we wanted to provide a brief ‘sneak peek!’ The long vacant storefront at 625 Bloomfield Avenue will soon be the home of Amai Ice Cream, a café that will specialize in Thai-style rolled ice cream. East Orange resident Kitana James, who's been making and serving this tasty treat at local outdoor events for some time, cannot wait to open her first shop and bring this unique brand of ice cream to the community. Stay tuned for updates and more information.”
