St. Thomas the Apostle School takes part in Archdiocese of Newark STEM EXPO

The students of St. Thomas the Apostle School worked together with other students around the Archdiocese of Newark to create STEM Projects

The students of St. Thomas the Apostle School in Bloomfield, NJ, worked diligently along with students of the other schools in the Archdiocese of Newark to display their STEM Projects for the entire state to witness at the Archdiocese of Newark's 1st STEM EXPO on Saturday March 25th. This EXPO took place at the Youth Center in Kearny, and displayed over 150 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects created by students in the Archdiocese of Newark. The ages of the students at the EXPO ranged from 10-15 years old, showing their knowledge of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals for the future of our world. Members from the NCEA (National Catholic Education Association) came to witness all of the wonderful creations and innovativeness by the students in the Archdiocese of Newark. Of these projects were ending world hunger, water resources, and gender equality just to name a few. Pictured below are the students from St. Thomas the Apostle School displaying their STEM Projects.
