The students of the St. Thomas the Apostle School 5th Grade were given the assignment to design newspapers of the American Revolution

The students in the fifth grade at St. Thomas the Apostle School were given the task of designing newspapers depicting the events of the American Revolution in their Social Studies Class. Their teacher Mr. Petrillo assigned the groups to get the ball rolling on this project and allowed the students to creatively come up with topics to discuss and write about. The students focused on battles such as The Seige of Yorktown and Bunker Hill. The students also created political cartoons to go inside of the newspapers depicting events during the American Revolution
