Stolen Cars On Summit, Baldwin, Franklin: Bloomfield Police
Bloomfield residents on Summit Avenue, Baldwin Street and Franklin Street reported vehicle thefts, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents on Summit Avenue, Baldwin Street and Franklin Street reported vehicle thefts within a three-day period last month, authorities said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following motor vehicle thefts were reported in the township:
- 9/24/18 – “Officers responded to Summit Avenue on a report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The vehicle owner parked her vehicle in the driveway on 9/24/18 at 8:00 P.M. On 9/25/18 at 7:30 A.M., she discovered the vehicle missing. The vehicle was left unlocked with a spare key in the glove compartment. An ipod, various credit cards, and two child seats were in the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2017 Red Honda Wagon NJ Registration H67HMV. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.”
- 9/24/18 – “An officer was dispatched to Baldwin Street on a report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The complainant states she last saw her car on 9/23/18 at 3:00 P.M. in her driveway. On 9/24/18 at 8:10 A.M., she observed the vehicle was missing. The vehicle is a 2013 burgundy Mazda wagon NJ Registration V95HMV. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.”
- 9/26/18 - “Officers on routine patrol in the area of Franklin Street were flagged down by a female who wanted to report a Motor Vehicle Theft. The vehicle owner parked her vehicle in the parking lot at 2:00 P.M. and returned to the vehicle at 2:30 P.M. to place bags in the car and continue shopping in the area. When she returned, she observed her keys and vehicle was missing from the parking lot. A search of the area was conducted for the vehicle with negative results. The vehicle is a 2004 Blue Jeep Wagon NJ Registration ZMD90A. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.”
