Students Encouraged to Participate in NJ State Conservation Poster Contest
Students grades 2-12 can enter. Winners are awarded cash prizes.

The Soil Conservation Districts of New Jersey are now accepting entries into a poster contest for increasing awareness of natural resources and related issues among young people.
According to the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, students will compete in the following divisions: Grade 2-3; Grade 4-6; Grade 7-9; and Grade 10-12. Additionally, winners of each category will receive cash prizes: First place $200 savings bons; second place $100 bonds; third place $50 bonds.
All first-place winners will be entered in the National Association of Conservation Districts poster contest.

The New Jersey Department of Agriculture State Soil Conservation Committee, New Jersey Association of Conservation Districts and the state’s 15 soil conservation districts are sponsoring the post contest.
