Suspect Breaks Into Bloomfield Liquor Store, Smashes Window: PD
A break-in at a liquor store in Bloomfield was caught on video surveillance, police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A recent break-in at a liquor store in Bloomfield was caught on video surveillance, police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Broughton Shoppers World of Liquor on Sept. 8 after getting a report about a burglary. When the officers arrived, the liquor store alarm was going off and the front window was smashed.
Police said the suspect – a man with a thin build about 5 feet 6 inches who was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt – entered the store, and then fled west on Birch Street.

Authorities said it wasn’t immediately known if any proceeds had been taken from the store.
