Teen Assaulted In Bloomfield's Memorial Park: 3 Arrested

Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield police have arrested two adults and a juvenile in connection with an alleged assault on a 15-year-old male in Memorial Park last week.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, an officer responded to the park on Feb. 3 on a report of a fight. On arrival, the officer found a 15-year-old male with “visible injuries to his face and arm.”

The teen allegedly told police that he was assaulted by several people and was taken to Mountainside Hospital for treatment, police stated.

Authorities notified the Bloomfield Youth Aid Bureau about the incident, and following an investigation, police arrested two adults and one juvenile – all Bloomfield residents – in connection with the alleged assault.
