Temple Ner Tamid Hosts March Events

Upcoming: Shabbat, Havdalah Café, Rosh Chodesh Women's Group Seder

Temple Ner Tamid, 936 Broad St., Bloomfield, will host several public events in late March:

SHABBAT B’YACHAD: CELEBRATING COMMUNITY AS FAMILY

Friday, March 27, 6 p.m.: Temple Ner Tamid will host a family-friendly, musical Shabbat experience. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a nosh in the Temple lobby followed by a 6:30 p.m. service. A catered community dinner will begin immediately following the service at 7:30 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $12 per adult and $6 per child under 12. Reservations are required. GIVING UP IS HARD TO DO

Saturday, March 28, 7:30 p.m.: Temple Ner Tamid and Bnai Keshet of Montclair will present “Giving Up Is Hard To Do,” a Havdalah Café and show performed by Annie Abbott.

According to a release, Abbott is a former Bnai Keshet member and the mother of current Ner Tamid member Zoe Behan. Her acting credits include Perception, Will & Grace, Golden Girls, Californication, LA Law, Boston Legal, ER and The X Files. She and her family lived in Montclair for 15 years before moving to California. She was one of the founders of Whole Theater Company in Montclair.

The show will take place at Temple Ner Tamid. Tickets are $30.

ROSH CHODESH WOMEN’S SEDER

Tuesday, March 31, 7 p.m.: The Women of Ner Tamid with Cantor Meredith Greenberg and Cantorial Assistant Ronni Pressman will hold their annual Rosh Chodesh Women’s Group Seder. Dinner is included. RSVP to rpressman7@me.com
