There should be a distinctive clue that will identify the stolen items, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police are searching for the culprit who stole several expensive pieces of electronic gear from the field house at Foley Field last week. There will be a distinctive clue that should identify the stolen items, police said: an engraving on the back of all the items reading “5th Quarter Club of Bloomfield.”

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to 557 John F. Kennedy Drive North (Foley Field) on Thursday, Oct. 12 after receiving a report of multiple thefts.

The victims told officers that they left the field house around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 11. The items were discovered missing from a locker and cabinet around 2:30 p.m. the next day, police said.
