Veteran Bloomfield Cop Retires After 27 Years

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Wish Bloomfield police officer Michael Falco a happy retirement. The veteran local cop will be retiring after more than 27 years of service, the Bloomfield Police Department announced Thursday.

Falco has helped to apprehend several suspects over the years, including an incident in 2014 when he chased down a suspected burglar after a vehicle pursuit, and an incident in 2013 when he assisted with the arrest of a man who crashed a stolen PT Cruiser into multiple cars, including a cop car, while trying to escape authorities.
