BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield’s town council met for its second meeting of the new year on Monday.

See the agenda for the Jan. 23 meeting here. Highlights included:

  • The introduction of a proposed ordinance (first reading) that would approve a long-term tax exemption and authorize the execution of a financial agreement with 100 Llewelyn Ave Urban Renewal, LLC
  • The introduction of a proposed ordinance (first reading) that would amend and supplement chapter 387 of the Bloomfield Township code, providing parking for physically limited persons
  • The awarding of multiple service contracts
  • The appointment of multiple township employees

Council meetings are held at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers on second floor of the Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 6.
