West Orange Adoptable Pet of the Week: Prepster

This week, meet adoptable Prepster!

Sweet and cute, Prepster was so-named because he was found at Seton Hall Prep School. Well, not just found at the Prep.... this beautiful dog was found INSIDE the Prep. Yes, inside the school. This smart young man may have been looking for an education, but he’ll settle for a loving home.

Prepster is a young dog (1–3 years) and of medium size. He is friendly, loving and likes his walks. He has lovely colors of Red/Chestnut/Orange. His breed is unknown—perhaps a mix of Pomeranian/ Husky/ Shiba Inu. His fur is more like that of a husky or one of the Arctic breeds and volunteers agree that Prepster's background is likely in the Spitz family. One thing we know for sure is that this dog is absolutely gorgeous.

If interested in meeting Prepster, the West Orange Animal Welfare League holds adoption days on:

• The first and third Saturday of each month (excepting holidays)
• The shelter is open Monday–Friday 4:30pm–5:30pm (excepting holidays)
• Animals can be seen by appointment through W.O. Animal Control: 973-325-4121
