Where To See Veterans Day Parade In Bloomfield: 2023 Event

The town continues to search for military members to spotlight as part of an ongoing effort to celebrate veterans in Bloomfield.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Veterans Day parade will take place in Bloomfield on Saturday, Nov. 11.

According to the Bloomfield Recreation Department, the parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Town Hall and proceed north on Franklin Street to the Veteran’s Monument on the corner of Liberty Street and Franklin Street. It will be followed by a ceremony at 11:20 a.m.

A luncheon is planned afterward for all veterans after the ceremony at the Town Pub, 378 Broad Street. Proper military identification will be required. There will be a $15 fee for all non-military who attend the luncheon.

Meanwhile, the town continues to search for past or active military members to spotlight as part of an ongoing effort to celebrate veterans in Bloomfield. According to the township:

“Last year we recognized nearly 110 past and active military personnel from Bloomfield. If you have served our country in the past, are currently serving or know of a family member, friend or neighbor who is a veteran with Bloomfield roots, please email a picture of them in JPEG format to msceurman@bloomfieldtwpnj.com.”
