Work Van Stolen In Bloomfield; Police Investigation Continues

The victim said she parked her work van on the street. When she returned two days later, it was gone, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Someone stole a Bloomfield resident’s work van last week, authorities announced Thursday.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to Edison Street on Aug. 22 after getting a report about a motor vehicle theft.

The victim told officers that she parked her work van on the street at 7 p.m. on Aug. 20. When she returned to the spot on Aug. 22, it was gone.

The van – a white 2003 Ford Econoline – was logged as stolen. An investigation into the theft continues, authorities said.
