The Young Adult Role Model Academy~ Molding our Future

The Young Adult Role Model Academy, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been created to equip young adults with all the tools and skills necessary to become successful leaders in all areas of life. It is a 22 week long program that meets once a week, where young adults will learn how to become physically, mentally, and emotionally fit. Upon completion graduates of the program will not only receive numerous awards but most importantly these young adults will receive the instilment of values, skills and habits of a successful and honorable human being.

What are participants will learn:

These young roles model will learn to provide inspiration and motivation to seek out accomplishments, to exhibit positive choice making, Healthy lifestyle, coping skills, time management skills, financial responsibility, leadership skills and communication skills. They will learn to possess integrity and they will be active in their community service.

How to Participate:

There are two ways to be able to participate in The Young Adult Role Model Academy:

1) Young Adults can be nominated by someone who has witnessed role model qualities in them, the academy board will decide to grant admission.

2) Young Adults are also able to nominate themselves by submitting a 500-1000 word essay stating why they feel they deserve to join our Young Adult Role Model Program.

Program Requirements:

All participants of the program are required to have and maintain a good average in school, a good conduct, be drug-free and are expected to follow the rules and regulation of the academy all throughout the program.

Our Radio Talk Show:

These Young Adults will not only learn how to become role models but they will literally serve as role models for their community through The Young Adult Role Model Radio Talk Show. Each child in the program will actively participate in the Young Adult Role Model Radio Talk Show, where they will express themselves and talk about what they have learned within the academy and offer advice to other Young Adults.

The Young Role Model Academy along with the Young Adult Role Model Radio Talk Show is the perfect combination to bring about the personification of a true Role Model.

Our field trips and special activities:

As part of the Program, these Young Adults will be able to participate in a variety of activities, field trips, excursions, hikes, nature and conservation activities. The participants of the program will be challenged to get away from phones, tablets and laptops, computer games, disconnect from social media. They will be inspired to embark on a journey of discovery to invigorate the imagination, replace lack of energy and concentration and express themselves fully in new creative ways.
