Celebrate Silent Movie Day (https://silentmovieday.org) at the historic Brook Arts Center in Bound Brook, NJ!
Get ready to laugh along with the antics of silent film comedy legends Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd and Charlie Chaplin with a special screening of three short comedy film classics:
“Sherlock Jr.” (1925) starring Buster Keaton
“Number Please?” (1920) starring Harold Lloyd
“The Adventurer” (1917) starring Charlie Chaplin
Experience the films as audiences did a century ago with live scores by award-winning organist Ian Fraser (https://ianfraserorganist.com/) performed on the Garden State Theatre Organ Society's restored 1920s Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. Hear over 750 real organ pipes built into the walls of the theatre filling the space with music!
Arrive early to hear a special pre-show organ concert by Ian at 6:30 PM and enjoy our themed photo-op in the lobby! Doors open at 6:00 PM.
