Grab your vampire costume and join us at the historic Brook Arts Center in Bound Brook, NJ for a special Halloween screening of the 1922 German Expressionist silent horror classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, based on the 1897 novel Dracula.
Directed by F. W. Murnau, the film stars Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife (Greta Schröder) of his estate agent (Gustav von Wangenheim) and brings the plague to their town.
Experience this legendary silent film as audiences did over a century ago, accompanied by a live score by award-winning organist Ian Fraser. (https://ianfraserorganist.com/), performed on the Garden State Theatre Organ Society's restored 1920s Wurlitzer Theatre Organ.
Hear the haunting sounds of over 750 real organ pipes built into the walls of the theatre, filling the space with music as Count Orlok emerges from the shadows!
