10-Fight NJ Golden Gloves Boxing Card Set For Brick

BRICK, NJ -- Amateur boxers from around New Jersey will be in Brick Township this Saturday for Week 4 of the 2016 New Jersey Golden Gloves Tournament.

The venue will be Brick Memorial High School, and the event is hosted by the Brick PAL, Dan McKevitt of the Brick PAL said.

There are 10 fights scheduled for Saturday night's card, including two Junior Olympic Division finals and the female 141-pound sub-novice division final.

"The Golden Gloves is the oldest amateur boxing tournament in the United States and the New Jersey tournament features the best amateur boxers from the state of New Jersey," McKevitt said.

Tickets are $20 for general admission, $35 for ringside seats, and can be purchased in advance through the Brick PAL website (click here) or at the door.
