100 Grams Of Cocaine, Handgun Seized In Brick Raid: Police
Daryl R. Pierce is facing multiple drug and weapons charges, Brick police said.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man is facing drug and weapons charges after more than 100 grams of cocaine, a handgun and two high-capacity magazines were seized during a raid early Tuesday at the Maple Leaf Condominium complex, police said.
Daryl R. Pierce, 50, was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his home just before 6 a.m., Sgt. Jim Kelly said.
The warrant resulted from an investigation by the police department's Street Crimes Unit and turned up a .40-caliber handgun that Pierce was not permitted to have, the two high-capacity magazines, ammunition and the cocaine, Kelly said.

Pierce has been charged with three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), distributing a CDS, possession of a firearm during a CDS offense, paraphernalia, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, high capacity magazines, certain persons not to possess firearms, prescription legend pills, and possession of more than 6 ounces of marijuana.
He is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River.
