110 Folds Of Heroin Seized, Brick Man Arrested After Raid: Police

The arrest was the result of an investigation that spanned several months, police said.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police seized 110 folds of heroin and arrested a township man on distribution charges after a several-month investigation into heroin distribution, police said Friday.

Stephen A. McCormack, 45, of Brick, was arrested when a search warrant was executed on a room at the Gaslite Motel on Route 88 in Brick, Sgt. Neal Pedersen said.

The warrant was executed shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Pedersen said, after an investigation that spanned several months.

McCormack was found to be in possession of 110 wax folds of heroin, Pedersen said. He was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, and distribution of heroin, he said.

McCormack is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $80,000 bail.
