BRICK, NJ — Two men were arrested Friday after drugs were found in their vehicle and a stolen car was abandoned in the parking lot at Brick Plaza, police said.
Romario Sharrier, 25, of Newark, and Oscar Euceda, 18, of Atlantic City, were arrested in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven on Chambers Bridge Road, Brick Sgt. Jim Kelly said.
Brick Police Officer Scott Mesmer saw two vehicles parked in a dark area in the parking lot of the Auto Zone in front of Brick Plaza about 11:30 p.m. Friday, Kelly said. It appeared the occupants were talking to each other, so Mesmer pulled in to take a closer look.

As he pulled in, one of the vehicles, a Jeep Cherokee, quickly pulled out of the parking lot through the entrance and headed north on Chambers Bridge Road. Mesmer saw the Cherokee had a headlight and a taillight out. He stopped the Cherokee, pulling into the 7-Eleven, Kelly said.
Sharrier and Euceda did not give Mesmer consistent answers when he asked them about the occupants of the other vehicle they were talking to in the parking lot.
