The two injured men were taken to the hospital, police said; the investigation is continuing.
JACKSON, NJ — Two men were shot early Sunday during what police say was a disturbance during an event at the Jackson Crossing shopping plaza.
The men, a 20-year-old and a 44-year-old, were both taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, Jackson Capt. Steven Laskiewicz said. He did not say where either man was shot or whether they were life-threatening or not.
The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. at the plaza, at the corner of South Hope Chapel Road and East Veterans Highway. Laskiewicz said there was a disturbance at an event being held at the plaza before the shooting happened. There were no details immediately available about the event.
