3 Monmouth Men Indicted In Child Porn Distribution: Prosecutor

The men, from Freehold, Asbury Park, and Red Bank, each shared multiple child porn files with others, the prosecutor's office said.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Three Monmouth County men have been indicted on charges of distributing child pornography in connection with three separate investigations, the prosecutor's office announced Friday.

John Catalano, 33, of Nottingham Way, Freehold; Timothy Keough, 29, of 8th Avenue, Asbury Park, and Zhe Bin Zie, 41, of Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, all were indicted on Monday, Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said.

Catalano is accused of distributing more than 25 images of child pornography. He was indicted on one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child in the distribution and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for possessing child pornography, Gramiccioni said.

Keough also is accused of distributing more than 25 images of child pornography. He was indicted on one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child in the distribution and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for possessing child pornography, Gramiccioni said.

Zie was indicted on one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child in the distribution of child pornography and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for possessing child pornography, Gramiccioni said.

Each man faces up to 10 years in prison with a mandatory 5-year period of parole ineligibility, Megan’s Law and parole supervision for life.

The charges resulted from unrelated investigations by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The cases are being prosecuted by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie Dugan.
