9/11 Commemoration Will Raise Funds For Brick American Legion

BRICK, NJ — In advance of the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, the Guild Theatreworks will be presenting "An American Tribute," commemorating the anniversary of the event.

The presentation also will be a fundraiser for the Brick American Legion.

"An American Tribute" will commemorate 9/11 through song, dance and spoken word, according to the Guild, as well as celebrating the nation's resilience in the face of the horrors of those attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania in 2001.

The event will be held at Brick's Civic Plaza, 270 Chambersbridge Road, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1.

Donations are requested at the event and will benefit the American Legion, organizers said.
